Sketching in cafes - making friends

Lonee flipped out her sketch pad and the boys came running. Shezi flipped out - but entertained the nervous subjects. Amandine snapped for the record. Thanks Lonee for your flattering drawings - because when we asked for the bill, we got cognacs all round! Hurah for a town that appreciates artists - mwah to Paris! Here's the only evidence of Lonee's efforts as all actual drawings were souveniered by the victims.

Big Day Out?

Shezi deciding if she wants a case of giant crabs from Paris - She thinks she can get them at home... Here's Amandine with her brand new brolly - braving the rain on the Champs Elysees.

The latest

Paris seagull at the Eiffel Tower. Just a sample of my many photos of all the birds in this wonderful city. Had a great day with the camera so we will update the blog with more snaps as they get processed & pass the censors... haw haw haw

This excited puppy was wagging the rouge blanc and blu for France! We loved the crazy eyes and the twinkling date. Fantanstique! We spotted him on the rue de food - a street full of delis butchers and bakers and fishmongers choclatiers fruitiers - (you get the idea). Puppy says "haw haw haw - delicious!"

Dogs on a train.

There are dogs everywhere in Paris, in the street, the train, restaurants, shops and bars. Not in the parks please!!! Here I am in my natural position, leaning down patting a pooch in the metro. My happy place.

We have been arting

Here's my tribute to Tanqueray - my first sketch based on a welcome drink that was VERY welcome! I just happened to have Tanqueray green in my paint kit! What a delicious coincidence.
Here is one of Lonnee's art works - I love this one for it's simplicity. Lonnee's natural inclination for bold colour and has been further inspired by the work of artist Magi Puig. Parfait Lonnee!

Hug a cow!!!?

"Just how you imagined it... Paris has something for everyone. People come to Paris to admire it's exceptional architectural and cultural heritage, which makes it one of the worlds most beautiful cities. This dynamic heritage is constantly being updated and enriched - and today it is enriched by the arrival of Brisgals. Shezi down on the farm ? No it's downtown Rue Daguerre, The street of food......in the 14th.

Umberella ella ella, eh eh eh

Sharing an umbrella and the Paris colour scheme, Amonde and Shezi venture into the rain -soaked afternoon in search of a second brolly. Even a grey day is no deterrent to these red-clad gals. It was the first Sunday of November, which means free musee. We were headed to the enchanting Musee de Orsay for some culture and much standing in line getting soggy. It was just one of those things......you do.

Bris-gals in Paris

A collection of Brisgals and sundry visiting misfits hanging out in Paris. Why - because it's Paris. For inspiration, wonder and... "haw haw haw!"
