A truly Eiffel time

There's no getting away from this symbol of the city - the beast.  It's a mechanical giant that looms over the elegant city.  It stands imperious in the sunshine and blue sky, romantic as it twinkles at night and seems like a discovered treasure bathed in gold against the incredible cobalt of the evenfall sky.

My best picks of Paris Streets!

I Love Paris in the Autumn.
Can't get enough of it's charm. Chez Caron
What do you know..It's Inspector Clouseau. That mo's not a faux !!
Pidgeons, pidgeons and more pidgeons. I think Paris must have the largest colony of pidgeons next to Italy. You can't walk a block without finding a flock...
Last stop today was at Tour Eiffel.
A magnificent structure. Lots of tourists but well worth the push and shove
to get some pictures.
All in all a fabulous end to my fourth day in Paris.
So many things to see, so little time.Mmmmmm Chez Caron

Day Three for Caron in gay Paree

Notre Dame on Rememberance Day. I have always had a 'thing' for flying buttresses, and believe me, Notre Dame has a great exhibition of them. Had a small 'moment' while listening to the choir sing - the Sopranos were fabulous, definitely had tear in my eye. Lit a candle for the fallen soldiers.

News from the front

My new rubber chicken handbag eyes off my old handbag. There could be trouble ahead!

Paris set me free - Loni's pictures

Hi Sab - here are some sample photos from each of us - see you Sunday! The chicken entered at around 2 in the morning. ApparentlyI have taken (after numerous deletes) 180 shots in 8 hours with 4 hours of that being for sleep.
Ist photo from me and Karens older model camera shows her new camera and Amanda's new camera on the stairs awaited the perfect photo op.
Here's the money shot!

Paris set me free - Karen's photos

Here is a sample of some of the photo's I have taken, even though I quite like these I am sure once I am more familiar with my camera I could greatly improve my technique, which basically is what I am looking for on on excersion. Looking forward to honing my skills through the lens. KK

Paris set me free - Amanda's Photo's

Here are some photos for Sab - to show you what we are currently doing, to prepare for our photo tour - how delicious is the shot of the aluminium and brass floor!

I can make a million euros

While outside the Hotel D'ville, I happened upon a sequinned beauty queen "Miss Paris" in a street cleaning truck. Her minders accosted me shouting "no photos' to which I replied, "no worries mate I'm from Australia" to which she replied "I zuppose you could put zis photo on fazebook and make zee million euros".
You may notice our creative licence with photoshop on this pic, poster edges rock!
What a start to my trip!
Sadly, today we sharewelled Fez, oops still a little jet lagged, that's hooray to Shez. Hope she has a safe journey home. My intro into the Paris apartment is now complete as I cooked the girls a hearty meal of Osso Bucco with greens tonight. A glass or two or three of red wine, a crusty baguette and voila! Dinner for three complete

Bris-gals in Paris

A collection of Brisgals and sundry visiting misfits hanging out in Paris. Why - because it's Paris. For inspiration, wonder and... "haw haw haw!"
