A Christmas Party - Part 2: Enjoying

We triumphed with a grand soiree. We baked and fried and steamed till there was a feast.  We were proud of ourselves!

Here's the first course (thanks Lenotre).

Not sure what this vegetable actually is - it looked like a posie of Christmas Trees, so remained ornamental for the evening.

And here is the main course - the piece without resistance.  Thanks Jamie for the latkes (yummy potato cakes) and thanks Lenotre for that Salmon loaf, hmmmmmmmmm.

Here are the happy diners!

After the grand feast we went to repent - at Notre Dame's midnight mass - lining up with the masses in the rain (it was like trying to get into a Duran Duran concert!).  An education for all, as we were none of us catholic and the mass was in french.

Merry Christmas!

Nice hat Loni!

A collection of Brisgals and sundry visiting misfits hanging out in Paris. Why - because it's Paris. For inspiration, wonder and... "haw haw haw!"
