Food glorious food - gourmands are geating around

The French are famous for their food - we decided to check out the situation to see for ourselves if the rumour was true - this, of course, requires EXTENSIVE research.  (Yeah we are takin' it for the team - and you can thank us later!)  Here are some 'ighlights.

Firts - our favourout (plis ezksuse mah outragouz franch accent) ...
Cafe Signes - zey feeds us well (as you may notice when we waddle 'ome - OMG it is swimsuit season there - oh no).

Here is Claudette - our friendly maitre d' who shouted us cognac-coffees and great jokes.

Last night we went to a chicken themed restaurant on the Isle de St Louis - it was a 'appy coincidance for Lonee's chicken 'andbag - "I am with my people now!!!"  said ze chicken.

It got more awkward, 'owever, when Lonee ordered ze petit poulet for dinner - check the disgust on the face of this handbag!   'ow insensitive Lonee  )-:

The desserts smoothed over any awkwardness as we melted into the groans of a chocolate frenzy. Oooh la frickin' la!

You can see above, this platter which is a Cafe gourmand.  I recommend this to any dessert lovers - it is always a delicious smorgasbourd of choices - just guard your plate from the invasion of the rogue spoons of your friends.

Here we have Tagine and Couscous - African delights - hmmm.

Art for dessert.

Giant wok of sausage and ham - eat with vin chaud (hot spiced red wine) !

and here is souperman - the best legumes in the whole of Noel Marche of St Suplice

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... got to go eat - Au revoir

Amandine and Y'neee
